During our bicycle journey down the Americas we try and visit as many different water projects as possible in order to paint a complete picture of existing freshwater issues.
While in Nicaragua we were invited by the World Bank to visit two projects; one in the small rural community of Tecuaname, and one in the nation’s capital: Managua.
We learnt about water pollution and people’s emotions waiting for the blue gold to flow, and how the increased urbanization of our planet brings with it its own water problems.
